Again, crossposting this as requested from the Nola.com St. Bernard Parish message board: Here is where I found images of the damage down on Angela. earth.google.com/This is the same program the cable news networks were using. The Gulf Coast region is avaiable with "before and after" imagery, thanks to storm damage overlays. Unfortunately, not all areas have been photographed post-Katrina. It's a phenomenal program and is a free download at the above website. Here's an example of a close-up of Angela, right there beside Jackson Barracks: The red daisy thing is his mom's house. His sister's house is right beside it on the left. It looks like the out buildings got torn up and turned around, and maybe the oak trees, too. The sad fact is that I had to toggle on the street names feature. . .because I couldn't find Mom's and Lynn's houses by landmarks. Heartbreaking! Jacqui
