I got in touch by phone to West Jeff Hosp. I spoke to an MD friend who said all is going ok there. (As ok as it can be...) They can't call out, but I called 504 347-5511 and they transferred me to him. He said the patients are ok, so is the staff. If you know anyone there, give it a try. It did take me a few days to get through. I had been trying since Tuesday.
