Even though the Park Timbers subdivision is technically in Orleans Parish which is wanting people to stay out, does anyone know FOR SURE whether or not we will be allowed in to inspect and collect a few things later this week? I have called one of my neighbors 3 times this week and their answering machine picks up so I am assuming that they at least have electricity. We are currently in Dallas and would really like to visit our property toward the end of the week but need a definitive answer as to whether the trip back down will only result in our being turned back. Even though the majority of Orleans parish is under water, our side of the river seems to have fared much better so I am thinking that maybe the "keep out" thing might not apply to our subdivision. Again, if anyone knows FOR SURE then please let me know. I have emailed Jackie Clarkson and she is useless as usual!!! Prayers for everyone, PT

You should be able to take I-10 to 310 to 90 with no problem...at least that was the case on Monday. I have a friend staying at his home in Agliers Point and he has been in/out checking on our office in Elmwood. You may have to show i.d. but I'm pretty sure they'll let you in.
My bro in law visited his home in English Turn on Monday...there are about 50 NOPD living in the clubhouse there.
You can send me your email address if you'd like more info...

We are residents of English Turn and have been able to find almost no information. Thank you so much for the comment about ET. Do you have any information about how much damage ET suffered?? We still don't have reliable information about damage to our house, or neighborhood. If you have information, I'd love to hear from you. Stognerw@yahoo.com thanks.
